South Georgia State College Bookstore is two local bookstores serving the students, faculty and staff of South Georgia State College with pride. Our primary goal is to ensure students are able to obtain the course materials they need at reasonable prices. We also provide many other items to support your academic career and school spirit. South Georgia State College Bookstore welcomes you to the South Georgia State College campuses. South Georgia State College was founded in 1906 as the 11th District Agricultural & Mechanical School. SGSC is the oldest publicly supported two-year school in Georgia. The Douglas main campus is located in Douglas, Georgia, a friendly community of 12,000. Situated just off the main highway through town, the campus is a short walk from shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The Douglas campus is easily reached from US Highways 221 and 441 and Georgia Highways 32, 135 and 158. The Waycross main campus is located on South Georgia Parkway (U S Hwy 82 West) in Waycross, Georgia, a friendly community of 15,000.

Meet Our Bookstore Staff
Daphne French, Bookstore Manager
Daphne has been with South Georgia State College since 1999. She is responsible for supervising the staff and all operations of the store including ordering textbooks, clothing and gift merchandise. You will also find her in the Douglas Campus store greeting and assisting students, faculty and staff with their bookstore needs. All questions and suggestions concerning bookstore operations should be addressed to her.

Melissa Lankford, Bookstore Assistant
Melissa is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the bookstore's web site. She processes the online orders and handles the shipping operation. You will also find her in the Waycross Campus store greeting and assisting students and other bookstore customers.
